It’s not the temps. Does are hiding after being harassed for two weeks. Temperature doesn’t affect deer movement as much as hunters think. Biology dictates almost all of what deer do.

Depends on if all the does were bred. It’s all about the does.

Briefly saw what I think is one of our nice 8’s. He was cruising too fast to get a good look.

70 deg with a south wind
Neighbor killed a nice 10 pt yesterday we had been seeing on camera. He was cruising to some doe piss.

.308 Savage ultralight looking over my food plot. It started dying after tge hard freeze but may be making a comeback after the rain and warm temps.

Shooting anything today. Lsufan jr has the greenlight to pop his cherry. We have been letting deer walk trying to get the 10 pt.

Southern Area 9
69 dogris
1-2 mph S wind
Savage .243
Homemade lean stand

Drank too much until too late last night. Slept in and took kids to that jump place in Denham Springs for my son’s pre-birthday celebration coming up here at midnight.

The deer were up bright and early on cam from 6-8am never fails. Hunt twice a day since Thursday before last and only see two spikes right at dark. First morning skipped, they hanging out for hours. Mfers got me patterned even though I been switching shite up.

Hot and clear

Too hot to sit in a deer stand and no doves so just driving around. Creeped on some javelinas and my niece put one down with her 243
