The project is a $2.1 Billion development with two hotels, practice rink, concert hall, upscale shopping, restaurants, and several residential towers.
It’s adjacent to Tempe Town Lake which has had 2.4 Million visitors since opening in late 1999. It’s located directly between downtown Phoenix and ASU. There’s nothing implausible about that claim. He’s not specifically talking about the 17k seat arena.

Since the Winnipeg Jets have already been resurrected, perhaps they bring back the Nordiques or Whalers.
