I'm looking for round bales in the Prairieville-Gonzales area. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

you're going to be hard pressed to get round bales at this time of the year. Most have been used and no one is baling yet. Especially with the rain. Call Old Time Farm Supply and Sacs in Gonzales to see if they have any or a referral.
Also check St. Gabriel hardware/ feed and seed as well.

Have plenty. 100-150 round bales. 20 minutes from Mississippi River Bridge.
Big bales (5x5). Stored in a barn.

We gave up on round bales. Horses would eat some but not others. We get square bales now. More expensive but they eat it.

See if you can find some round bales of jig Bermuda. Racehorse owners and horse ranch owners come to a place right by us and pick up a load sometimes. Usually coming up from south Louisiana. Sheep like it, too.
