There was a Danny's Fried Chicken in Luling when I was a kid there in the late 70's early 80's. At the time it was the only fast food in Luling.

We used to have one in Bogalusa when I was a kid but it’s long gone now. We used to love getting chicken from there!

Danny's had many locations in Lower Terrebonne and Lafourche... Chauvin, Dulac, Galliano, Golden Meadow. My MawMaw lived about 1/4 miles from the Chauvin location. When more people than expected showed up at Sunday Lunch she would send my someone to Danny's to get a bucket of chicken to feed everyone. That was a rare occasion though.

Mom last weekend and noticed the sign was gone. Guess the chicken place couldn’t handle Bourgeois Relocating to Gray.
