What was his TD name? Or did he respond to your post?

Have to at least ask them for a cell number so you can communicate that way. Usually scares them off or they claim they don't have one.....

That same guy tried to scam me for regional tickets and something told me it wasn’t right so I asked him to send the tickets 1st and he refused so I just didn’t reply. Scammers are the worst and I’ve stopped trying to buy tickets off ticket exchange.

Unfortunately it seems that with election tickets it’s becoming easier and easier for scammers. No longer can you just meet someone in person to exchange tickets and money. They don’t even have to work now to produce counterfeit paper tickets. Just a scam email and Venmo account

Sucks, man. I'm sorry. I've always had good experiences here. One of the Keys for me is asking the person to reply to my thread on TD. That way you can see their history here.

Do they have 2 posts and joined yesterday? Or do they have 1000s and been around for years?

Overall, it's become very very difficult (not impossible) to get reasonably priced tickets on TD for hot events (It's generally the same on StubHub, to be fair).

However, using TD for less popular events can be cool. I've had folks slide me free tickets a couple times, and I try to pay it forward when I can too.

This should of been a red flag also.

I saw you post your contact email the other day for tickets.

What a fricking scumbag. Well hopefully some decent season ticket holders get some tonight on presale and sell them here to real tiger fans for close to face value before the gremlins gobble up anything left tomorrow morning

I just bought 2 SRO tickets. If you need tickets (and I mean like YOU are gonna use them and not re-sell) then I'll sell them to you for cost... $65 total for both.

If you need them to help replace the money you wasted on the scam then post your email and I'll get in touch.

That's wire fraud... a federal crime.

I'd get LEO involved.

Good luck with that. My wife’s company had over 300K stolen via a phishing scam and the FBI told them to call back if it got over 1 million.
