If I was single, traveled single or took multiple trips a year I think I may like more desolate places but I'm a sucker and admit it..I on'y ski once or twice a year and I like the resort vibe.

Last year in Park City for Mardi Gras it was also the weekend of the NBA All Star game. First lift of the day I am chatting it up with the guy next to me, what brings us there, how long have we been skiing, etc.

Anyway, we did a couple runs together and said our goobyes and later that afteroon I saw him at the umbrella bar where we were having a couple beers before dinner. He stopped by, we talked for a bit, found out he was in town for the all star game and was in the apparel business. Okay, no big deal.

Family met me and we went to dinner and when we left we found out he picked up our entire dinner bill. Turns out it was Michael Rubin, the CEO and founder of Fanatics and he's worth about 11 billion.

Solid list. Japan still remains on mine.

Revelstoke never disappoints. There is always untracked snow in the trees. 330 pm? No problem. Deep stuff is still in there.

Hiking sucks. Sub Peak hike is a staircase of vert. Dropping untouched lines in North Bowl afterwards may have been worth it. Maybe.

No visibility is the least of your problems.

Base of Revy is maybe 1K. Then it thunders towards heaven for 7K more feet in a heartbeat.

Have I mentioned it’s steep?

My Teva Reembers just came in and this is exactly what I was looking for, thanks. very comfortable. Will post back in a couple weeks to report how they stack up in the elements.

Whoa, where are the groomed trails and safety fences in your picture? There looks to be a significant amount of powdery snow on top the finely-groomed corduroy?!?!

I’m not sure. There are groomed trails in there but I freeride - in and out of the woods.

Revy received significant amounts of snow lately but the temperature rose drastically causing really dense and slushy conditions out here for the last three days. Marginal conditions at a tremendous place.

OK, I’ve been in a gear upgrade, spree the last couple of weeks and have a major complaint to everyone here. Why in the world did nobody tell me how awesome ski bibs were? Granted, I haven’t had to take a shite between runs yet, but trying these on I feel like I’ve been missing out my entire life.

Yeah, I went with the zipper but it has two small pockets on each side just big enough to fit trail mix on one side and a pack of peanut butter crackers on the other side
