All the possession and not many chances. Jesus had one good one he messed up. It was a really nice build up passed around the entire attack. Even that took forever, I wanna say around the 60th minute.

The opener came off a throw in where Jesus beat Turner near post with a nutmeg, he should have covered it better.

Then the 2nd goal came off a counter where it went from the left side to Saka who cut in on his left and finished far post.

Rice has actually been a little off today, which is surprising.

I absolutely thought he should have passed on that last shot, but he made a beautiful move before that

That is an unbelievably shitty goal to concede. The luckiest fricking bounce on earth

Lucky bounce to stay right at his feet, but I feel Zinchenko lost sight of his man, and Saliba-Gabriel could have done better with the 1 guy in the box between them.

On review that was really a very unlikely bounce on that goal.

On to Liverpool

Japan are through to the Asian Cup last eight after a 3-1 win against Bahrain. Takehiro Tomiyasu played the full 90 minutes for Japan at centre back.

Japan’s quarter-final will be played on Saturday.
Really hope Tomi can stay healthy and provide some competition/cover at LB/RB once the Asian Cup is finished.

Zinchenko fricked up, he didnt stay in line with the other defenders, prob why ben got pissed at him. but then saliba completely outmuscled for the ball.

Either way i think we played really well, by the 60th monute though i was getting really frustrated with Jesus, then he came good.

And our first goal is like the stupid goals we used to give up. you can not fall asleep in this league. And im glad it looks like we worked on throw-in routines too.

he has saved their bacon at times, i just think you are a poor judge of GK.

Hes about mid table on goals conceded and hes made more saves than raya and ramsdale combined.

he also has more high claims than david raya, and is better in the air. Its like Turner, Sa and Martinez that are the best at that.

Turner is def a much more involved in the game keeper because who he plays for though. Hes def not the worst in the league.

Turner is a good GK and I’m glad to have him as the US keep currently. But you aren’t allowed to make that many mistakes in the EPL. There are too many at turners level to allow for him to stay number 1.
