Champions League away games are always tough. But, the offense didn't look up for the game yesterday. They played well enough for the draw away, which I think we would all take, but they had that classic Arsenal lapse in the last 30 seconds.

On to the second leg.

What a game last night lol. Did a deep analytical dive and noticed that the ball was in play a total of 51.7% for the game yesterday.

Our game is fluid and quick moving futbol. If the game is start/stop and non-stop fouling and stoppage of play that is exactly what Porto wanted and Arteta realized that after the game. You hear him say in the post-game interview that they now know what to expect for the Emirates cause he expects the same thing.

I am sure he will gameplan better and the team will better understand. If you guys thought Porto and Pepe were bad yesterday?

Wait until you watch Pepe try and hold onto a 1-0 lead at the Emirates. Gonna need 80 stretchers all game for them.

Didn't help that the ref bought into nearly every single one of their dives in the box as well.

At least two Porto players fell to the ground and yelled on every corner.

Not loving this lineup today but what the hell do I really know.

Also, WTH is going on at GK. I don’t think there is a dime between them, one is a little better on the start and other defensively but both seem to have too many “o shite” moments or lapse in confidence or concentration. Maybe we need a better goalkeeper coach or a mediation therapist or something. I prefer Ramsdale over Raya as I want my goalie to give me extra saves more than quick starts and there are times when Ramsdale was as good as anyone in the league, but he was bad when he was pulled. But Raya has definitely been lacking too and I hold him responsible for a lot of the close game losses. GK is significantly a mental position, maybe we need a sports shrink. Our opposing goalie or a perfect example

Arsenal are the first team in Premier league history to score 2 goals in 7 consecutive halves of football.

When do we get Timber back? It is the opposite of last year, we are getting stronger at end of the year.

I hate all the talk of a collapse, to me it was just a war of attrition. MC was the better team and they got stronger at the end as they were getting people back and we were bleeding people. That’s not a collapse, we all knew we lacked depth and needed to be super lucky on injuries etc, and it didn’t happen.

I think I’ve read he’s training again with the team. Not sure what that translates to, maybe Aprilish?
