I agree that Jackson should remain with the team. He is so young and athletic. He showed yesterday that he is capable of converting his chances and he is a good on-ball attacker. It would be foolish to give him this year of experience and then let some other team reap the benefits.

The semi-featured players that should be out are James, Chilwell, Sterling, and Silva. I get that James and Chilwell are academy products, but this team is much better without them. Silva has given all he can. Sterling, Chilwell, and James only take away minutes from more consistent players.

I love Chilly but yes, he looks a step slower after the injury and can’t defend. Jackson needs about 10 lbs of muscle in the offseason. Sell Reece to the highest La Liga bidder. Bye bye Raheem and thank you for your service, great Silva.

For those clamoring for Jackson and to be here next year need look no further than today as to why he shouldn’t. Kid is not a reliable finisher. He’s a less polished Timo. He’s the reason we lost because he cannot collect himself enough to get clean shots off. We had City beaten if Jackson had the class to take advantage of his opportunities.
