Every single school invited to the B1G is AAU. FSU currently isn't.

So If the ACC collapses, how will the B1G be able to take the Curse, Virginia, Duke, North Carolina, Miami, FSU, and GT? Because we know the will go after all of them

You have no conference? What a shame. How does Quarter Portion sound?

The BIG presidents were also against adding them at the time. Things can change rapidly when shite hits the fan and a different deal in on the table.

Definitely not what USC wanted.

The vote was unanimous. USC is fine with it.

USC doesn't have a vote. They aren't a BIG member until next August.

The vote is just ceremonial anyway.

Yeah, USC doesn’t have any say so at this point.

Arizona State is AAU and in the #10 MSA in the country. Those details mean little in this.

That's nice. They also aren't as valuable as UCLA/USC/Oregon/Washington (all AAU members).

“Those details mean little in this.”

You are agreeing with me. ASU doesn’t have the fanbase, booster base, tv following, and national appeal of any of them. Mainly because they are led by the person who thought Larry Scott was a transcendent commissioner, and his commitment to pushing ASU athletics to grow mirrored the trajectory of the Pac-12 Network.

You're agreeing with me that every school invited by the B1G has been AAU. I never said anything about ASU or that it was a guarantee.
And it absolutely does matter for the B1G. Jim Delaney said Nebraska wouldn't have been invited had they been kicked out a year prior.

And rumor has it they are pissed about Oregon being allowed in the B1G. Supposedly they had an agreement they would not be as they didn't want the competition in recruiting.

Don't know that I believe it, but it's out there.

Clemson is not AAU and doesn't get you a market. GT gets them in Atlanta. Miami and FSU gets them in Florida, and The Curse gets them all of NY

None of this matters except for the few remaining cable subscribers

Yep, there's a reason Oregon and Washington have been B1G targets for awhile.

Most valuable brands
5. Notre Dame - choosing to stay indy for now
14. Virginia - stuck in the ACC via lousy GOR
15. FSU - same
17. Clemson - same
19. Oregon - ding ding ding
23. Lousville - same
25. Washington - ding ding ding
