If the pipeline infrastructure is in place to support these export facilities....there would (in theory) be easier regional access to the fuel in south La and south Texas as a consequence. That's been the case in the past couple of decades. That's a piece of infrastructure that isn't really matched by the midwest or northeast.

A lack of export facilities was one of the main reasons the crash happened in 2014/2015. We drilled way too much and had no where to put it. I'm not saying we shouldn't prioritize US manufacturing but why not export gas to allies (UK, Germany, France, Japan, and South Korea) and keep exploration stable?
