Former Tiger averaging 135 yards receiving per game, leading all of Juco

Last two games he’s had 295 yards and four scores

Only bring his name up because I have a slight concern how the WR room will look in 2024; you’re going to be relying on a lot of young faces

Dude is legit

He could've easily walked into the draft as a top round pick if he had worked out at lsu.

You are right about the wide receiver room being young.

I wish they would mix some guys in more. Too much lacy for my liking.

He was my favorite on film of the class with Nabers and Thomas - he is really talented.

I was under the impression it wasn’t an amicable split, if that’s true I doubt there’s interest from either side.

Yeah, we all knew he was great. Some disconnect between him and LSU. It is what it is.

Why? According to this board and many media, local and national, Nuss is the second coming of Jesus. Just throw some babies out there and he'll break Burrow's season record in 5 games.

I still feel to this day he was gonna be the best out of that bunch we signed that year. Kid has great talent. Him Malik and Thomas would’ve been nasty together

I'm really hoping:

1. BTJ comes back and makes himself a first rounder
2. Hilton starts getting some more touches this year so he's ready to be the guy if he has to next year

He was a recruiting miss.
He’s gone for a reason, not anywhere near the caliber of talent of Malik or BTJr.

Please elaborate. I thought guys that sign and made it to campus weren’t considered recruiting misses.

A lot of people really don't understand what a recruiting "miss" actually is.

A recruiting miss is someone who, despite doing everything right and working hard, doesn't develop and play up to their recruiting rank at any point in their football career (cases where a 5 star doesn't develop until the NFL)

A super talented guy having off the field issues is not a "miss". The talent eval is separate from the off field stuff.

Arik Gilbert is NOT a miss. His talent is unquestionable, just as an example.

Eli Ricks is another example. A very talented player that didn't fully develop their abilities in college to the level of their recruiting ranking but may develop it in the NFL.

Why would you ever worry about WR at LSU? Our 3 stars lead the NFL ..

Not bringing Keon Coleman in instead of day Jack bech was a recruiting miss.

Deion Smith has other issues. He last caught a D1 college pass in OCT 21’. It’s not like he’s had a plan. He has clearly fricked up multiple times
