it took him 6 years as DC to finally have a decent defense, each year we lost at least 3-4 games before the defense was ready to start playing.
we need to give him 6 more years to see if he figures out how to be a HC

Everyone knows he’s the set up coach for finding a new one. After HCSP left. We aren’t hiring another SP.

I said this in the thread when hired. He’s a nice guy, good DC but doesn’t have the demeanor to be a HC. He’s a career loser. So not shocked.

You’re absolutely right and you wonder if Payton saw this and bolted himself. Mr. B was a businessman and wanted accountability. Gayle just isn’t that. Shes a figurehead who lets peons do all the work. Bad ownerships bleeds all the way down. Gayle may keep this team in nola but it’ll remain shitty if she continues to own it.
