Talked to CC after a game a few years ago. Met his wife and talked about life. He did turn his around.

Fournette's performance in 2015 was much more impressive and painful for Auburn.

My daughter graduated with him in H.S. He groped girls then but the school and the SB took a blind eye. He finally got suspended for such acts but was let to play Friday. He was a groomed assailant.

Cecil did his time. Did Derrius?
From what I know, Cecil also had little to NO real help when he needed it most - in HS.

Cecil was let go by LSU when behavior didn’t improve. Derrius’ behavior was horrific, and yet remained on the team.

I’m mad at you for bringing it up. mealey also had over 100 yards rushing. It was the most asinine coaching I’ve ever seen.

This is such flawed logic. One was convicted of a felony. The other wasn’t. That’s why Cecil “did his time.”

The responses to that question ITT have kind of proven the posters pointvtgat there are two standards for the two players for illogical reasons. One just happened almost 30 years ago so people were too young to remember or simply don’t care anymore. The internet also didn’t exist the way it does now for all of Cecil’s behavior to be exposed in real time.

I didn't even know he was out, well, good for him. I wish him the best now in his life, mental illness is a serious thing and I hope and pray that he's gotten the help that he needs.

You're right, you can't compare the two because one was a serious felony, the other was really kinda like hearsay stuff to me. I tell you what though, I don't think Guice should have been blackballed from playing in the NFL like he was. Dude was a great young talent at RB that never got a chance after this to show what he could do, everyone deserves a second chance, imo.

It wasn't hearsay.
People interacting with Guice while he was at LSU experienced it.

They both had - and have, mental issues to deal with. It's a shame they weren't able to get the help they needed while they were playing at LSU.

Still pissed that Dinardo didn't give him the ball on 3rd down against Auburn in 1997 to seal the game. He was averaging 8.6 yards a carry in that game. We should have won the west.

The infamous play call was a 3rd and 2 from Auburn's 47. LSU was up 28-24. While it would have been a big 1st down there were 11 minutes left in the game. People saying it would have sealed the game have over-inflated the importance of one play over the years considering how the rest of the game unfolded.

After the punt LSU even got a stop and got the ball back up 28-24 with 6:25 left. So the failure to convert the 3rd and 2 the drive earlier really didn't end up mattering.

On LSU's drive after getting the ball back with 6:25 left LSU had a 3rd and 5 from their own 36 with 3 minutes left. Cecil had runs of 5, 3, 3, and 0 that drive so Auburn had clamped down some. LSU ran a bootleg scramble with Herb Tyler on 3rd and 5 and failed to convert. Auburn then drove 80 yards and won the game.

Watching those highlights on YouTube with Cecil Collins two things I noticed besides CC. The stadium sounded alot louder back during those years and he had some pretty stud olineman during that time Faneca and Mcclure to name a few. Also CC was a fricking beast returning kicks also.

Lock your doors and windows before going night night girls. Unless that’s your kink, then crack all doors and open windows. Also sleep nude with no covers.

People interacting w Guice and thinking he’s an a-hole isn’t in the same vein of what people are alleging ITT and others which is 100% hearsay based off allegations they’ve read about
