Yeah, you had the two best guys and the best girl in the elimination.
Horacio knows he can beat every girl and every guy besides Ed and Kyland no matter the challenge. Maybe Emmanuel for some challenges. He is too nice about it, but he’s right and he knows it.
With this format, I don’t see how Jay gets sent in. He won’t finish last, and everyone is doing his bidding for him except Kyland, Horacio, Olivia, and the girls who were eliminated this week.
I don’t know why Ed is choosing to be the low man on the totem pole in that alliance. I mean he’s behind Corey and James.
If Kyland or Horacio don’t win next week, it will be a very boring episode.

For an incredibly smart guy, Ed is dumb. Horacio and Kyland would have definitely taken him to the end no matter what had he just sided with them. Jay's alliance showed their true colors last week when it comes to him and if it weren't for Horacio/Kyland constantly coming back, he would be number 1 on the hit list. Now he'll be targeted by both sides. The smartest move Nurys could have done was to save ZaZa and let Olivia go home. She contributes nothing. Their alliance had a great chance at winning inidividual dailys and taking power from there. I get it but Olivia is worthless.

So Jay is allowed to smirk/smile but Kyland isn't? Lol at Jay saying he will get physical. Nurys 100% should have saved Zara. Ed, your alliance has said your name. Ugg

Having only watched these people on Challenges (plus Ed’s rap video ), the only person who comes off as a real a-hole is Jay.
Corey is an annoying flake, but that’s it. And Berna is a weirdo who gets into strange arguments but isn’t at all vicious.
Everyone else is is fine while I would go as far as saying Horacio, Kyland, Ed, and Emmanuel are very nice and polite.

Like was Jay planning on letting Asaf win? Otherwise shut up about how upset he was to not win for his wife and children, it was going to happen at some point. Just admit you were throwing a tantrum because not everyone wanted to do what you wanted them to do.

In hindsight, that's true. But at that point they didn't know if one person came back or two (or some other angle even). She should've saved Horacio IMO. He's the best guy in the house by a mile.
Also, I agree with this:
quote:

BUT...you can't play that game and keep going into elimination every single time. It never works out well and eventually you will run into something that you aren't good at or if you just have an off day, and you will go home.

Also agree with that. As much as I hate Jay, he and Michelle have played the game well so far and kept themselves VERY protected and cushioned. That's another reason I don't like this format of save you, you save him, he saves her, etc. Jay will NEVER be at the bottom of that totem pole.
And Ed will likely learn the hard way where he stands in his alliance. You aren't a top 3 dude in it (Jay, Emmanuel, Corey). Likely not even top 4 if you consider James. So at best you're 5th just ranking the guys (and obviously he was behind Asaf as well). And most of the girls are also above you as well. Whereas he could join with Horacio and Kyland and be top three and they can all plan on running the final together.
It's just not smart. On top of them already having said your fricking name.

The only reason I can think that Ed is staying with the Jay/Michelle side is that the guys in that group are so much easier to beat in a final. If Ed goes to a final with Horacio/Kyland/Emmanuel he will lose but he can easily beat Jay/Corey/James/ in anything endurance related.
Emanuel is the ? because he seems to be middle of the pack on both sides and has the endurance to win it all.

Also it’s insane that he’s putting out videos about steroids and testosterone for 200-300 views. Shows just how much of a joke the drug testing (for PEDs) is on the Challenge.
But if there was any consistency, people could just send Justin Booth YouTube links to get Ed permanently banned from the show for PED use.

I hope this works
Despite your best efforts to frick it up using the quote button instead of the link button, it worked.
And it's hilarious.
Do they suspend people for PEDs? I mean, their biggest named dudes on the show were notorious for roiding up before challenges, no?

That’s the thousand dollar question.
People like Wes say there have been warnings and even season-long bans for PED use and that they all undergo testing.
I’ve always been skeptical about that although it’s clear that the regulars just do fewer steroids now than in 2009.
But Ed is so out in the open about it that it makes Wes look like he’s completely full of it.
The guy has detailed breakdowns about what PEDS do for performance in his vlogs , and there isn’t even plausible deniability that he doesn’t do roids.
At least Cornell can claim that he wasn’t doing them while competing in college, based on timing.

1000%
Ed and Nurys both had chances to really strengthen their alliances. If you get a team of Ed, Horacio, Kyland, Nurys, and Zaza, that team is almost certainly gonna have a winner each week. You really only have to worry about Emmanuel.
I’m super bummed Z went home. I don’t think there’s another girl in the house who even gets over that wall, let alone doing it in the mud. She’s a beast, sucks she got sent home.

were about to see this get lopsided on m/f ratio. females probably gonna be more likely to get purged from dailies.
and elims are gonna be tougher unless they just heavy hand the puzzle equalizers which they kind of have to do given the format.
interesting voting process...they really screwed nurys over lol that was pretty cold blooded.
it could get pretty interesting if someone decides to flip on their alliance, anyone along the chain could throw a wrench in the planned voting chain.

Unless I am mistaken, there has not been a trivia challenge yet. I could see that getting James or Corey sent home as last. They don't seem too bright and James would probably struggle with some of the US pop culture references.

I agree with you about the wall climbing. Maybe Berna because of her background but I don’t see anyone else who can do it, and Berna has many weaknesses.
If they keep up the format from last week, we may be down to 4 females on Wednesday.
Trivia would be a good equalizer.

Zara was the strongest girl there. I don't know who the best is that's left, maybe Colleen or Berna, but they're all pretty far behind Zara.

Oh my…
I don’t want to spoil it so that’s all I’ll say. Wow.
That knife was really sharp.
Jaw dropping.
