She has to be in the lineup. Mulkey will straighten the troops out. But maybe some of this is due to the new college system that I think in time will ruin everything. They are young and look what happens to college grads sometime with all that money thrown at them. They change and some just can't handle it,

Easy question....WITH. Williams is the best player on this team. The team seems to be improving on defense, they just need to stop allowing opponents to shoot so many 3's.

Right now, almost all are contributing but I'm concerned about Poa and Poole. Poa hurts the offense by spotting up beyond the arc and once the ball is swung to her, she's not taking the open look. Poole has great ball-handling skills but just doesn't seem aggressive enough. They both look like liabilities on the court.

The overall team has greatly improved on defense but they need to learn to "value each possession" and stop with the crazy azz turnovers by wildly overthrowing long passes. I get you're trying fast-break but take if it's there, if not, just run your half-court sets. You have the shooters to flourish either way. Also, on rebounds and steals, they're allowing their opponents to steal it back because they keep trying to operate in too much traffic. They just need to slow down, look around and make the pass, or reset and bring the ball up court.

Man some of yall are fricking retarded for real. It is basically a new team trying to gel. She will be fine. Some of yall are mad she gets endorsements and stuff, which I might add is good for LSU, brings publicity. I read someone else saying earlier how HVL was not as good as players from last year. IN HER 3RD GAME OF THE YEAR ON A NEW TEAM PLAYING A NEW POSITION. The bandwagon fans that have come around please just leave and stop watching games. You all are clueless. LSU dont need you as fans. You all will complain about everything. Literally.

Reese needs to focus on rebounding and passing to the open player first when she gets doubled or tripled.

If she focuses on that and takes opportunities to score as they come she will get her points. If she keeps forcing bad shots from bad spots, she will hurt the team.

LSUWBB is better WITH Angel Reese.

Reese will be fine. She is in good shape and SOMETIMES plays hard. That will change, IMO. She is too competitive to slack off much in bigger games.

I am more worried about Kateri Poole. She seems a step slower and less motivated than she was last season. (She has good speed and quickness.)

I guess Mulkey showed you what yanking a knot in her arse looks like yesterday in Hammond. I guess my statement was pretty phrophetic...
Clear now?

Agreed. It’s still early but Kateri was tough as nails and one of the best warriors on that NC team. She seems unmotivated so far. She could have transferred somewhere to start but willingly came back, I assumed, to be part of another national championship, so not sure what her slow start is about.

Is this team better without Angel Reese?

Hell no.

Is this team capable of redefining itself without Angel Reese, and would it have the talent, depth, and coaching to win another NC?

Hell yes.

Unpopular but much better. And yes, we’ll definitely be in the mix at the end.

I agree. She is not one of the most talented players on the team. She can rebound, and that is what she should be coached to do. Rebound, and put back. She tries to score too much and forces way too many bad shots....like she want to be the scoring champ over the straw that stirs a great team.
