It’s a legit concern about DT’s, but not DBs. We are getting numbers at DB. They might not be the guys you want, but you don’t know who is good and who isn’t.

There are homes in this team this year and next. While there is some young talent at DB, DL could be a complete shiteshow next year.
The coaching is awful at 2 of three levels and non-existent at the 3rd with their coach our t for health reasons.
House is awful and living off his one good year at UK, which had less to do with him as time passes and shows UK’s defenses are Stoops’ successes. They didn’t miss a beat when House left with an in house hire. That tells tou all tou need to know.
Last season was leadership, better DL coaching and play, more experienced recruits in the DBs from the portal and players that were already coached up before getting to LSU.
Burns sucked last year too and Brooks covered for him a lot. Losing Brooks was big because he actually knew what ge was doing but they simply bombed this year in portal recruiting. They also waited too long to get to youngsters on the field.

It's ridiculous and not surprising that you got all those thumbs down. I don't love it, but you're speaking the truth. People just don't like to hear or admit it. We haven't been DBU in years. Hell, we haven't been respectable at CB since Stingley. Say what you want, but the two decommits clearly see that this is no longer a place to be developed into a top CB. Blame it on coaching, recruiting, or whatever else. Fact of the matter is there are many other schools developing better CB talent right now.
Hoping we can get that turned back around and take advantage of the immense talent in Louisiana instead of relying on average transfers every season. We can all see how that's working out.

yeah I mean Johnson and Alexander were injuries.
Harris is exactly who he has always been. worth a flyer but can’t pull his head out of his arse.
Chestnut just a miss.
NIL + OOS recruits = 0 confidence till they sign.
We’ll get Alexander and hopefully Johnson back next year. hopefully hit the portal a hit and grab a decent guy at the end in the class.
it’s just hard to have no one ahead of freshmen 3 stars. gotta get some guys in to recruit
