Just got back from playing 2 hours of pickleball (yeah yeah...)

Now I'm sipping on a big cabernet and eating some kind of crazy turkish chicken dish my wife made.

After this I'm going to settle in and watch a few episodes of The Expanse.

I know I'm old, married, and boring compared to you bar flys. But I'm OK with it.

Lake Charles—O.B.’s

Damn, I’ve been trying to remember the name of that place for a while now. I befriended a barkeep at Brew Bros in Burbank that’s from the Lake Charles and Lafayette music scene and we still couldn’t name that spot.

Impressive that they’re still open, I’m assuming in the same location. Haven’t been to OB’s, Pappy’s (or really any bars in Lake Charles) in 15+ years. RIP to the Caddyshack and John’s Barn. Is the frostee factory and cowboy’s still around?

We set up a keg where Tucks used to be.

We'll get over to grits in 4-5 hours.
