I don’t think he’s had the talent to really run an air raid offense so that’s why he runs that ball control offense. He seems like a coach that looks at his team and will do what is best for the team. It will be interesting to see what he does at Houston though.

We’ll see, it’ll be interesting. outside of 2022, his offenses just didn’t score a lot of points. I do remember when he was hired that people were concerned his offensive style wasn’t modern enough to keep up with Cincy, Houston, UCF, SMU, etc., which ended up being a very valid concern. He was sub .500 at Tulane until this season.

But he’s obviously an outstanding coach, and resurrected a dead program. Tulane owes him a huge debt of gratitude. He’s proved you can win there, hopefully we hire another up and coming coach and keep the momentum going.

Yeah, he's been great for Tulane but people forget that he ran a 2 win team in 2021. His Tulane team this year was incredibly overrated and kept barely winning games against some of the worst CFB teams in the country. They had a very soft schedule even for an AAC team. Could easily be a 4-5 loss season this year with a more difficult schedule.
