Great head coaches consistently lose coordinators. It's one of the reasons the Orgeron experiment wasn't sustainable.

Perhaps, but they weren't available. And please, by all means, tell me who was where that same gap doesn't exist.

If we were gonna pay 100 million I'd rather have taken a shot on Harbaugh or Swinney. Although only Swinney has proven to not buckle in big games.

Didn’t they offer him an extension? Maybe Denbrock wanted to go home?

It wasn’t the worst defense in 2022 and just because he was fired on the tarmac in Oxford and by 3pm when the A&M game was over doesn’t mean he will be here next season let alone permanently.

Mediocre recruiting class

Ranked 10th nationally. Not ideally what you’d like but far from “mediocre”.

I know patience is a foreign concept ina world where we are hooked on instant communication but how above let things play back. If the next 3 years look like 2023 (minus the Heisman) we can reevaluate

He inherited a LSU team that went 500 the two years before he came. Also he inherited a team with 38 scholarship players. He’s gone 19 - 7 in the two years he has been here. And that was with a terrible DC hire. He’s only been here two years. When he finally gets his coaching staff situated settled I believe we will be a consistent force in the SEC and the nation

Between this OC debacle,
what debacle? Denbrock is old and wanted to go home. The DC position isn’t settled either. Give it time and put a tampon in that bleeding pussy of yours. Christ

[quote]Obviously, but I was trying to be positive for once today. UGA signed 5 top 50 guys on the DL. LSU ZERO, that's gonna be a problem in say 2 years..lol

No way guys like you are actually LSU fans

Between this OC debacle, the DC hire, not signing arguably the best DT in the nation that's from Lafayette on a team in desperate need of one, this has been underwhelming to say the least.

If Chicken wanted to make some money, he should open a bar named Club Menopause where all these old ladies could sit together and bitch about everything.

Oh I thought this was the right hire at the time.

It's just not working out as we had hoped.

The SEC is too big for him.

Yes the stars aligned.

Why are you asking if BK can't duplicate it? He just had a generational talent at QB just like in 2019 and he made about as terrible a choice as one can make at DC. So there is your answer. That was his one chance at winning it all, squandered in magnificent fashion. Almost cost his QB a most deserving Heisman save for the luck of Oregon losing that game.

The defense sucked this year there’s no denying that but so tell Nostradamus how hiring a guy, who had a top 10 defense at Kentucky and coached in the NFL “as terrible a choice as one can make”.

you are obviously an inconsolable child. Let the next few years play out before making thee types of declarative statements.
