I can confirm that he is in Monroe. He also said that he was going to the game, but he may have just been saying that to avoid more questions.

Just wondering if you’ve ever said or posted a positive thing on the Rant. It’s one thing to rant about something that you don’t like or concerned about but your whole M.O. on here is just to bash other posters. Don’t quite get that.

As of now, I suppose it's speculative as to why he's not with the team.
If he's a no-show for this game because he wants more money, I doubt it will go over well with the players who have accomplished much more, yet chose to play in the bowl.
A freshman backup boycotting the game because he's demanding more money? If that is indeed the case, he can hit the road.

That’s not what you said. You said he was the best we’ve had since Whitworth.
He may have that potential, but he isn’t there yet and if things indicative of his attitude, he never will meet that potential
