Where does this come from? Is it because Jones started off as a guard last year? I don’t buy it. He’s 6’6 and athletic as shite for a guy that big. Why wouldn’t he be viewed as a tackle professionally?

Back in the good old days, if a player said he didn’t want to play in a game, the coach would have said “ go clean out your locker” you’re off the team.

Look I’m not saying he’s going about it right, but this is an NIL thing that was promised and has not come to fruition. I’ll say it’s more family than he himself, and if you read between the lines on what Kelly said today, the conversation will pick back up with Lance and FAMILY after the bowl game.

I just think the best group next year has EJ inside. EJ at guard and LH at T is a better combo than the opposite. I’m not even sure Heard is capable of playing inside at this level. Jones can.

If heard can’t play guard then you find someone else. Jones is the best right tackle. If heard wants to play he needs to beat him out for the spot. Not have it given to him.
