It’s crazy to think that D Hunter is still a pro-bowler after this many years in the league and never really showing this potential while at LSU

Also, saying D Hunter is kinda weird, sounds more like a nickname from Aggie land

he’s maybe 30 too.

he was crazy young coming out of lsu

Hunter just turned 29. He won’t turn 30 till the end of next october. he turned 21 his rookie year.

I feel like it’s flying under the radar how freakish this guy was coming out of high school at like 16

He CLEARLY showed the potential while at LSU. The reason you don’t think so is that you evaluate a DE on one statistic - sacks. Hunter was a dominant DE at LSU. He was a major reason that LSU had the best defense in the country - the ONLY defense in the country that was able to control every offense it faced.

The team strategy was to cage rush most QBs. This took away the opportunity for a lot of sacks, as every defensive lineman was rushing two-gap. Had they done it your way Daniels would have had 10 sacks, guys like Johnny Manziel would have run for 120 yards against us, and we would have lost a few more games.

Why do people say this shite? The guy literally shut down the run on his side the entire season at lsu. He played with his hand in the dirt and had 73 tackles from the de position. He had more tackles than all but 2 other lineman his last year and both of them didnt always have a hand in the dirt.

73 tackles
13.5 tfl
1.5 sacks
6pd
1ff
1fr
1 defensive td

I'll take that stat line instead of the 9 or 10 sacks that would've "shown his talent".
