Theyve been common use. Repeal all gun laws.

But, but they taking our guns...

There is clearly a growing trend according to the graph, but to be fair a lot of people registered their braced guns due to the unlawful regulations the ATF tried to impose on law abiding citizens.

Governments will try to take your pocket knives if they can. Their desperation to take our guns away has been on full display for, likely, twice as many decades as you've been alive.
The powerful desire above all else, a monopoly OF power. Hence 2A.

as far as a i know, only 250,000, or so, registered during the amnesty period. and that was out of 40,000,000 potential brace owners.
plus, 250,000 out of 3.5 million is only 7%.

Damn you are ignorant.

That's way less that I would have thought. Good on most of the brace owners for not giving in to their bullshite.

Most of that is silencers I’d imagine. Almost everyone I know these days are buying a can
Not many go through the trouble or expense of something like a machine gun.

They have to TRY as many sheep will give in, but the Goats will say No. The Goats know what they stand for. It’s your choice.

Presumable this includes the brace amnesty thing?
Posted on 1/10/24 at 1:57 pm to finchmeister08
Just think how many they could process if they had enough manpower dedicated to approvals to keep up with the backlog. They intentionally understaff the approval office to deter ownership imo.

Got my omega 9k approved today. 194 day wait.
22 warlock is still in jail at 71 days. They can't even group by name to get multiple approvals

Or if the feds didn’t make it so hard to buy a suppressor in the first place. It’s stupid.

I've always thought this. It's pretty pitiful an agency funded by tax payer dollars takes so long to give an approval to a law abiding citizen to owning a safety device for a firearm.

This is a glaring symptom of the dysfunction of the Federal government and the elected folks who continue to ignore the majority it claims to represent.
How can leftist, socialist countries in Europe allow OTC purchases of suppressors - and encourage if not require them for hunting - while we in the “land of the free” have to pay an archaic $200 to be allowed the privilege of protecting my hearing -
of course only after months of govt caused wait times.
RINOs and Dumbacrats all the same just different skins.

not saying i disagree with you, but they have made additional hires strictly for NFA approvals over the years. the hiring rate could be "slow" in most people's eyes, and when it comes to that, i would agree that deter's ownership.
48 employees still isn't "enough" for the amount of forms that come across their desks.
i still don't understand why a Form 1 can take 10-ish days while a Form 4 has to take 9-12 months.
