Yeah, obviously our WR development is lacking, when only two of our starters are drafted in the first round by the NFL.

Where do all these idiots come from?!?

The guy who watches the team practice everyday all year felt the need to take not 1 but 2 portal WRs,

We took portal receivers even though we had BTJ and Nabers on the roster. I don't see how CBK taking a couple of portal receivers implies that Hilton is not a stud - which he is.

Jamarr Chase had 313 yards the year before he won the Biletnikoff. Hilton had 225 this season. And Hilton was behind three NFL level studs. Chase was only behind Jefferson and some nobodies. Mark my words - Hilton is going to dominate next year.

Same reason we brought in Swann. Experience.

It says that the two studs that are going pro leave really big shoes to fill.

Could say they are not happy with the development of the room or it could mean nothing. I am not on the coaching staff so I am not even going to speculate.
I will
Just sit back and watch, that will tell
Us everything

i wouldn't call that dominant.

I think it is more likely he transfers in April vs having a dominant season in 2024.

just by alignment

Lacy to replace Nabers (50/50 slot vs outside)
Daniels to replace Thomas (80/20 outside vs slot)

Lacy's replacement at WR3 is who?

If it's the mold of lacy, it will be a guy who can play slot or outside equally or near equally.

Aaron Anderson 94/6 slot vs outside
Chris Hilton 90/10 outside vs slot
Zavion Thomas 78/22 outside vs slot

Could even be a TE, or Kyle Parker, or Sampson.

Zavion Thomas is a Chris Hilton type player with some actual production.

Hilton had a good bowl game. The goal is to build off that and have a productive offseason catching a million balls with jugs then being ready to go

We added a QB too but that doesn't mean Nuss is no good... You don't stop recruiting good players

It says LSU is even better than they already were at the WR position now

We only had 2 upper classmen before Thomas and Daniels. Seems like a good move to get experience and leadership in that room. I was kind of meh about it, but it makes more sense when looking at the depth chart.

Theoretically 22 you got Anderson and Ibeita. Anderson looks like a bust and ibieta will never contribute

Them taking thomas kinda shows they aren't sold on Anderson.

He was extremely disappointing. To me he didn't look engaged all year.
I know he had nagging injuries but it almost looked like he was redshirting.

Daniels has two years if need be.

In the age of NIL and transfer portal kids are going to get a taste of the NFL because NIL and the transfer portal are forcing teams to manage their roster like an NFL team. If a more talented player is available you grab them and make cuts at the end of summer. This is simply the case with Daniels.
