4 of Alabama’s starters started their careers at Ohio, St Peter’s, North Dakota State and Cal St-Fullerton.
All 5 starters from powerhouse FAU were transfers.
Auburn’s best player is from Moorehead State.
The best player in the SEC and maybe the country played at Northern Colorado.
Forget looking for 4-5* kids. Scout ESPN+ for Ohio Valley and West Coast conference games.
You can cherry pick programs like that. But then you have programs like Tennessee that might just add a single player to a full roster built in a traditional sense. I would much rather do it that way.

Plus, the transfer portal will become less of a factor moving forward as the covid year players are aging out. That will open more spaces for a good player as you will have 4 graduating classes competing instead of 5.

And just to correct my post above, we should have 4 spots instead of 3 through loss of eligibility: Baker, Hannibal, Dean, and Wright.

Him and Williams should make for a exciting back court

And Miller/Chest should make for an exciting front court.

Just wish the fans over on tRant would pay more attention & quit relentlessly showering the program with negativity.

We keep Reed and Ward and we are in good shape.I would go to war with a rotation of Reed,Chest,Collins,Miller, and Ward.Another possibility is Fountain(Didn't somebody say he can return ?)

Prime example of group think over there. One guy with a cross to burn says something negative and 10 more chime in with “yeah, the team/coach sucks”. Record aside, the team is trending in the right direction, just not as fast as everyone wants it to … blame the “I want it now” culture.

This is why I sit on the RB more than the rant. It's literally a cesspool of negativity once the season starts. Right now baseball is going through the sunshine period. Once season starts and they drop a midweek game, all hell will break loose!!

That’s what I like to hear. I have been impressed with Williams improvement this season.

Miller has to be an upgrade over Dean and Baker. hopefully he can rebound

The scouting report basically says he is an elite talent but..
quote:

His kryptonite is his level of "want to" and consistency. There are times when Miller's body language and competitive edge or lack thereof leaves a lot to be desired

This is from 247. That’s why I say he’ll drive people here crazy.
