The problem is he’s not fighting at all. He knew what he was walking into and what the possibilities were when he left for LIV.

Niemann went all around the world to play in events because he knew that’s what it would take. Gooch is making outlandish comments and doing nothing to make his situation better with respect to getting major invites.

And neither is LIV now. He doesn’t think he needs OWGR points to prove how good of a player he is.

Nice to see most of professional golfers actually agree with him.

Good for Niemann playing the extra events, but he was doing that bc he felt like he needed to reach top 50 to even get in. I’m not sure that was mathematically even possible for Gooch

Actually, in Gooch's case, he probably didn't know what he was walking into. He thought he could play in LIV London and go back to the PGA Tour. He was completely oblivious to how everything was going to work.
