But to your specific point, they do get ranked as amateurs, right? So would the team aspect of college golf ruin the amateur rankings?

Correct. They’re just gonna have to figure it out.
Taking a firm stand that OWGR in its current form is some perfect metric and all new tours should conform exactly to their system to get ranked is ridiculous.
Likewise, it’s ridiculous to think liv can just start a tour doing what they want, get top players, and automatically be judged according to the current system standard.
This is what change looks like and it takes time to adapt. Which will happen.
