I don't think 70 percent of the rant cares at all about softball, much less cared who the coach was.
But, yes, LSU softball is putting on a show this season.

Let’s see if her team actually does anything of value in the postseason for once in her career before caring about a regular season start.

People didn't want her fired because of regular season performance. Her team has been getting bounced from the postseason earlier and earlier the past 6 years. It was a valid concern. She's since made coaching staff changes, whether by her own volition or pressure from the AD, changes were made regardless.
Also no one has a problem with her as a person, in fact just about everyone loves her as a person and wants her to succeed and hopes these staff changes will result in better postseason performance allowing her to keep her job.
