Imagine seeing a ship lose power, take out a bridge, and instantly blaming it on the fact that there are brown people and women operating it.

Synergy is the company who makes the claim that "diversity is their greatest strength". If thats the case, then why didn't it prevent this disaster from occurring. Was there something they could have been putting resources to, that would have prevented this disaster from occurring?

Was everyone operating this vessel completely qualified for the job, or were there people on board less qualified, but hired because of their appearance?

Not even a close assessment, but an opportunity to play the race card as would be expected. Using DEI hire people instead of merit puts people in jobs they are not qualified for. There are a multitude of instances where this has happened. As long as DEI is in play as displayed on Synergy's website it has to be suspect as to one of the possible causes.

Picking someone for a position because of skin color over someone who is qualified is plain racism.

It's analogous to having a faulty part in a engine. Maybe it wasn't why the engine failed but you have to be suspect.

And not even realizing that the ship was almost certainly being controlled by a local harbor pilot.

The electric was probably in her kids name. Along with the cable, water and gas.
