at time it can when you draft dumb. It's not often the young, raw high upside guy works out.
If they can't shoot, they better be excellent defenders that don't foul. If they can't defend well, they better have a legit skill on offense. and all of that should be seen clearly in college, no "well he has potential for this" crap.

You can get a good center prospect later in the draft. I really, really wanted the
pels to get back in the second round last year when Trayce Jackson Davis from Indiana was still there late, but the Warriors took him in the 50s and he's been a very solid center for them off the bench as a rookie.
