This logic is so fricking poorly thought out.

You're told a hit piece is coming out about you. What's your reaction? Especially if there's nothing particularly damming. You start thinking, "what the frick could they have found?" It'd be maddening.

Some would wait to read it and respond. I respect that Kim went on the offensive and simply said, if you lie or print untruths, I will sue.

The guy had two years to find ANYTHING and what he gave us were things we already knew. I hope you're never on a jury with your mindset.

She wasn't told a hit piece was coming out. She was contacted by the reporter who asked her to interview and who then contacted her again prior print. It reminds me of the woman who was embezzling town funds and told the press that would discover those misdeeds much later “we don’t want you here” their first day on the beat. That act made it obvious something was vert wrong. Otherwise the reporter never would’ve noticed them.
