They now send your application through 3 people to get to know you as a person and not just test numbers. Why? So they accept minorities with bad grades.
Last year, my nephew applied and we didn’t hear back until 1 week before decision deadline. We met all the criteria and got in. He chose to go to an out of state school instead. I couldn’t be happier.
LSU is not the same as it was 20 years ago.

When I went to LSU, if you were a state resident, graduated HS, and took the ACT (didn't matter what score), you were accepted. Mid 1970's.
