It probably depends on how the rest of the season plays out. I think that earlier in the year, pitching was the biggest issue, and the regression of most of the pitchers was an indictment of Yeskie. Then we have last weekend, where the pitching staff performed decently against a good offensive team and got no support offensively. So the decline is basically team-wide, and the big question is whether the pitching staff shows improvement or regresses.

He has no choice.
You lose White, Travinksi, Milazzo, and Bingham.
This recruiting class is outstanding and if he gets lucky there's a couple of bats that would become day one starters...who knows maybe he can actually promise them playing time and an NIL deal without it being a lie.

The pitching staff has been a disappointment as well but I think there's much more to work with and have shown flashes. It's almost like every guy they go to has a shut down performance and then the next time blows up and so they don't know who to trust...there's also been very limited times where LSU has had a lead...it's been a very unusual first half of conference play.
