PGA Tour needs ads and sponsors to survive. It is a necessary evil. Another thing LIV doesn’t have to worry about with PIF backing them up.

Well, it’s a terrible TV product because of it and objectively ruins the viewing experience.

Ads are necessary for sporting events. The constant barrage of ads you see during PGAT telecasts are not.
