Last one I bought from a local company that has their own repair team..higher end kitchen aid that had good reviews everywhere online...it was scratch & dent, so it was cheaper, added the 5yr parts & labor warranty, brought it back up to basically regular price..had to use the warranty 3 yrs in, but it was all covered

House hold appliances are all control board junk. Washer/dryer failed at 4 years, Bosch microwave failed at 4 1/2, stove/cooktop just failed at 5 years.
The first rule of appliance purchase is that paying top dollar does not improve performance and they are just as unrepairable as a cheap one.
Buy based on specific features and 4 year disposal
