I would offer our 14th & Olave to Chargers a for their 5th pick, the 69th selection, and the 105 pick.
And after that, I would turn off Madden and go have lunch.

And they would not only hand up but probably also spread what ridiculous offers you make amongst the league.

The only player for whom I’d consider this trade is JD5.

frick no considering I’d take the 3 “F” tackles, Latham and Mims over Alt in the draft. He really wasn’t dominant at all in college and his size is actually going to hurt him in the NFL. I think we can find good tackles in the 2nd or 3rd rounds honestly. Tyler Guyton, Jordan Morgan, Patrick Paul, the LT from Yale, the RT from BYU and Washington RT Roger Rosengarten would all be too 50 picks in most drafts. If there ever were a draft to fall back 5-7 spots in the 1st and pick up an extra day 2 pick to start rebuilding this team with quality talent on cheap rookie deals, this is the one to do it.

I really like Guyton from Oklahoma.
He just seems so athletic and springy while also having a big nice base.
This is a draft I would absolutely love the saints to trade back and pick up an extra 2nd or 3rd rounder. You can still get a good tackle late first or 2nd round.
This draft is extremely deep imo. Just look at some mocks and the entire 2nd round is full of players that should hit. More picks in this draft is a good thing.

Penning’s grip strength — while solid — can be broken with forceful moves, and he keeps his hands too wide, opening up his torso. Additionally, there is some stiffness present when he needs to recover laterally. His feet are a bit heavy at times, although he generally moves well.
What is it about Penning that is holding him back the most? Footwork?
We know he's not afraid to
Among other notes, Penning’s hand precision still has some room for improvement, and his hands and feet can have better synergy. Penning can be grabby and penalty-prone when he loses leverage, and he sometimes goes too far with his nasty attitude after the snap.
On top of his athleticism, Penning has a massive, well-proportioned frame with elite length. His hands can be
It’s easy to fall in love with Penning’s upside and aggression. Beyond his nasty attitude and strength, Penning has a lot to clean up. Technical flaws like high pad level, inconsistent feet, and open hands could be easily exploited at the NFL level. His modest lateral stiffness also bears noting. Penning could move inside to guard, where his physicality would be maximized. But his high pad level would hurt there, too.
Heavy-footed and lumbers around the field despite the athleticism he displayed at the Combine. Occasionally bends at the waist. Lacks quick and natural footwork
If I'm the saints I'm giving penning time at rt. I know charles leno Jr had hip surgery but once healthy I'm signing him. He would solidify the lt spot and you could probably get him cheaper than most lt starters.

Make that trade, then turn around and trade the pick to the Vikings for their 2 first rounders. And then throw in David Goddamn Putney because I feel like it.
