I even donated to his re-election campaign in 2020 when he was in the runoff with Democrat Jaime Harrison in spite of him not representing my state.

The man is about to be tried for high crimes and misdemeanors. If he's found not guilty on all impending charges (not just in New York), I may reconsider my evaluation of him

It really is amazing. One week, the "true conservatives" are saying MAGA is a minority in the party and hold no power. The next week, Trump is responsible for bills being passed in congress without the support of MAGA.
The TDS Republicans correctly called out Graham when he tanked the 2022 election with his abortion nonsense. Now, he's doing it again, but since he is blaming Trump, they are all on board the idiot train this time.
Maybe one day they'll be able use their brain when Trump is involved. I won't hold my breath, though.

I haven't seen the latest version but I believe the bill contains language where the "loan" can be forgiven by the President.

Trumps legal faux pas have no bearing on my opinion of him, I dont think hes necessarily at fault for any of it.
