It sucks, but you just put aside your differences and make it work for their sake. My kids' mother is a certified crazy woman, but I never talk about her in front of the kids. We have a 50/50 custody agreement with no child support either way.

As someone who got divorced when mine were 4&2 I can concur that in fact does suck..
