Before the crime comments, I mean it’s in Detroit this year…

Just thinking the backdrop along Bourbon & the French Quarter seems like a perfect fit no? NOLA just seems like a great spot for the draft.

Jazz Fest. City doesn’t want it.

It’s only a matter of time before we get it in Nola. I picture it being at the riverfront with fireworks over the river. Crime has nothing to do with it. We’re hosting the next Super Bowl. The draft isn’t even a zit on the arse of the Super Bowl.

The NFL just started doing this moving draft thing. It was in NYC for the longest time. I'm sure we'll get a shot eventually.

Where would they host it to place over 300,000 people in the same area in front of a stage?

We get Super Bowls.

They mostly go to non-Super Bowl cities like Kansas City, Cleveland, Detroit, Philly and Chicago.

We could do it at the big stage at Jazz Fest.

Well, considering the fact that they have trouble keeping power on for superbowls might play a factor in it.

Maybe for an off site stage but you can’t just plop down the draft stage and crowd into the quarter

Goodell was asked this question the other day. He said that draft locations/cities are usually cities that will not host super bowls. They have done it this way because typically the nfl draft is not as big as Super Bowls and it allows the smaller cities to be a part of the nfl process.

Hate to tell you Saints fans this, the New Orleans Saints are completely irrelevant outside of a 200 mile radius of NOLA. Get out of the area to realize that.
