I’m not ignoring his competition. It’s still NFL defenses. And 6 games is a pretty big sample size. And half of the 6 were playoff teams. You are also ignoring the fact the line was horrendous early in the season with Penning starting. It also got him hurt and he should have sat out one or two games without question.

Maybe it was the competition, maybe he got healthy, maybe he played better once the line learned how to block.. Either way, I put up the stats, which were top 5 stats over those 6 games. I’d say that’s pretty lights out.
