He's not just pushing 40, he's played 68,000 minutes on a professional basketball court.

Only a handful of players have surpassed 50,000.

There's a lot of mileage on those tires.

I know it's en vogue to hate the guy but it's pretty crazy that at this point in his career, he is averaging 36 minutes and posting 25 - 8 - 8 every night and upping those numbers in high-pressure games.

The greatest to ever do it. The man is an engineering marvel. A genetic freak of nature who wasn't just blessed with dynamic physical abilities but the basketball IQ to overwhelm the game in every aspect of it. Still, the greatest comparison on the planet to show how dominant he is in all areas of the game.

King James:

40K points, 11K assists, 11K rebounds.

Any other NBA great:

10K points, 10K assists, 10K rebounds, it never happened even once by anyone else.

If he was the greatest player he would have more than 4 titles in 21 seasons.

He's obviously a very good player that lacked a killer instinct for most of his career and prevented him from winning more championships.

(See missed wide open 3 against the Nuggets in Game 2, missed 3 against the Spurs in 2013 (Ray Allen bailed him out), missed shots against the Warriors at the end of Game 7 in 2016 (Kyrie bailed him out), abysmal series against Dallas in 2011, etc.
