because we haven't had as many high leverage situations with leads for him to come in and hold. Basically, our teams sucks a lot more and his value/role is diminished as a result. People interpret that as something is wrong with him.

He's only thrown 12.1 innings this year, so one bad outing like he had at Arkansas where he walked 2, gave up a hit, and 3 ER is going to completely wreck his "stats" in a small sample size. Other than that game, he's been just as good as he was last year. In the rest of his appearances, he has pitched 12 innings, given up 4 ER, 9 hits, and walked 8 with 19 Ks.

That's a 3.33 ERA, 1.41 WHIP and 14.25K/9 innings. Last year he had a 3.77 ERA, a 1.22 WHIP and 13.19K/9 innings
