They sell sponsorships genius. I don’t give money to the school bc I care about the baseball program. Clients and kids are always asking business owners to sponsor cheerleading, baseball, soccer, etc. South Lake Charles is a pretty small area and everyone pretty much knows each other. I’ve been gone for a while but you can pretty much hear something on the rant, send a text, and find out what is bs or not.

But many of us do business with guys who played college (for teams not just named LSU) and pro ball that played at Barbe as well.

I don’t really have anything to gain by telling you he hit 95 in high school. You claimed he maxed out at 92 in high school. I sent you a link proving other wise. He hit 94 at usc. Believe what you want to believe.

Someone posted on here about it. I didn’t believe it. I asked a few people about it and got confirmation. I’ve talked to people that played at a few other SEC schools and give zero fricks about LSU. It didn’t just happen against Zachary.

So you paying to have an add in their baseball program doesn't make you an expert. Glad you clarified that for me

Then why do you think "some of us actually graduated from Barbe, give money to the baseball program" gives your statements credibility?

Alums at schools never have anything to gain personally by overexaggerating how good their players are. They still do it all the time

Your posts just scream travel ball dad, but you do you

What do you think is more likely 1) that Guidry was throwing 95 in high school and couldn't do it once he got to college for no apparent reason; or 2) that he has always been a pitcher with a low 90s fastball, which is why he throws that hard in college. There's nothing wrong with a low 90s fastball fwiw. Aaron Nola makes a lot of money throwing low 90s fastballs.

"I was told by other people he threw 95" doesn't mean he actually threw 95.
