just curious, that is why I asked - I as well WAS a long time United Methodist that recently left....I have really only kept up with the churches in Louisiana and in Alabama that have left - Alabama had a large number that left the UMC - 547 churches the last I read - and some of those were pretty large ones

Woodlands Methodist left last summer as well. Pretty big church
