Cedar Crest Southern Baptist in West Monroe, La was (on the surface) a great traditional Baptist Church. I went there for a while.
The music dir had an alternate life going on. He was nice guy but something seemed off. He had a son that was a dancer on the short-live Nia Peebles party machine. Ok. He seemed off but was a good cellist in the church orchestra.
One day it was revealed that the music dir was leaving his wife (of 20+ years) and family for some gay hair dresser.
Naturally he had to be fired.
I hope he turned from his homo lifestyle at some point but who knows what happened.
