Exactly. Blacks and whites have different cultures. As do Latinos and Asians. Not saying one is superior to the other, they are just different. And most people want to live around and socialize with others who share the same culture. It doesn't make anyone racist or prejudiced. Its human nature, it ain't racism. Most of us also have some concept, flawed as it is, that our race is a little better than others....or that people who are similar to us are a little better. Again, human nature, not racism, at least in the way the term is used today. What is racist is acting on these basic human tendencies....dismissing people because they are different, that sort of thing. Its also important to keep in mind that it is not that long ago that acting on those tendencies was codified in the United States and many people impacted by that codification are still alive and have influenced almost everyone still alive....it will take a minute to get over that on both sides.
