"The Dane County Sheriff’s office directed media to a staging area but had not provided updates several hours after the school district first alerted families about the incident.

This might be the best takeaway other than no kids being killed....the authorities are being very tight lipped and not making a celebrity out of the perp and themselves...yet. At least some of the attraction to an insane motherfricker is getting some attention....CNN flying in and cops telling all they know is right in the crazy fricker playbook.....
