Broome will have to cut the city budget. Taxes are as high as most are willing to pay.

That's why I'm predicting that Broome gives in and lets EBRSO take over BRPD. Mayor loses power, but the State takes over funding; taking $100 million off the books.
eta: Though I'm not sure if this has to be done by legislative action or if Gov. Landry can order it directly.
