Based on that logic parents should be allowed to consent to their child having sex with adults. Parents should be allowed to let children drink alcohol from the second they are born. Parents should be allowed to do whatever they want with their children with no restrictions. Get the frick out of here with your bullshite.

Yes, it is. There are all kinds of restrictions on what a parent can allow, or disallow, even when it comes to medical decisions. For example parents aren't allowed to refuse blood transfusions even for religious reasons.

There is a reason the productive, healthy, well-balanced trans person is a unicorn. One of the most famous trans people in the country - heralded as a success story - met his downfall for compulsively stealing women's clothing from suitcases and wearing them in public governmental appearances. Oopsie.

They're inherently at war with their own nature, which is why the suicide rate is astronomical. And it doesn't improve with treatment, which has the disorienting impact of ingratiating the delusions while the rest of the world - understandably - continues to view them as extremely disturbed.

There are some parents I’m sympathetic towards in this. These evil doctors will outright threaten their child and say “Would you rather have a trans daughter/trans son, or a dead son/daughter?” Some parents terrified that their child might die if they don’t “listen to the professionals” comply with what they’re “told by the experts.”

This goes both out to the evil doctors and the sympathetic terrified parents, first let’s establish the parameters if there were just as many trans kids per capita in the past as there are today? If the answer is “Yes” and you’re saying this is lifesaving treatment, then please point out the mass trans kid suicide epidemic in the 70s? …Oh you don’t have that? How about the 80s? …No? …90s? …2000s? Oh no data whatsoever to support your claim. It does however pop up in the 2010s, and I’m sure it’s not related to this map at all:
